Hey! The night before the show next week, the Adler Planetarium is having a Transit of Venus party for FREE (IL residents only, suckas!). Who wants to come with the Encyclo Sho to see Venus travel in front of the sun for the last time before 2117? You can view it from home too, but who views the transit of planets alone? Come on out, you amateur Kepplers!

Here’s some purty solar system chocolates. As someone pointed out on twitter, the deplaneting of pluto has cheated us out of a ninth candy, however, this finally makes the sentence “ooh, i want to put uranus in my mouth” perfectly legal to say in the workplace!
